Vitaly “Save-” Melnyk, captain of BetBoom Team, said their new roster was able to improve their level of preparation at DreamLeague Season 24, as the team stopped being afraid of picking non-traditional champions.

This professional gamer shared his opinion in an interview on Twitch.

“I don't know either. We started playing better than in the first group stage. We started picking champions that we weren't afraid to play. Champions that others don't choose. For example, carry-Magnus and Warlock are at position ‘five’.”

The gamer also shared that, after losing to Tundra Esports in the second group stage of the tournament, the team defeated Xtreme Gaming in the main decider by picking Magnus and Warlock, which gave the team a boost of confidence.

“In the second round, we lost to Tundra and then drew 1-1 with Xtreme. We decided to pick Magnus and Warlock in the decider and won. After this match, we were more confident with these characters and won playing them.”

The captain of BetBoom Team also said that the team lost in the first game of the match against Team Spirit due to some serious mistakes. However, the team won the next two games, giving them the top spot at the tournament's finals.
