The first semi-final of Elisa Masters Espoo 2024 ended with the victory of ENCE, the recently restructured team, overcoming The MongolZ to advance to the final of the event in Finland.

Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander's roster was recently strengthened by two additions, Ryan "Neityu" Aubry and Kacper "xKacpersky" Gabara, formerly of MOUZ NXT and Young Ninjas, with Elisa Masters Espoo is the debut place of the new lineup.

So far, ENCE has surpassed expectations, taking down 9z and having a series of intense matches with HEROIC before defeating The MongolZ in the semi-finals. The international team is now set to face the winner of the semi-final between B8 and HEROIC for a chance to lift the trophy at Espoo.

The semi-final series began with the Anubis map chosen by ENCE, where the European team gained a 7-5 advantage on offense. After temporarily losing control due to The MongolZ winning the pistol round, gla1ve's team rebounded in the second half of the match with 6 consecutive rounds to lock in a 13-8 victory.

The MongolZ were clearly unfazed by the result, as they exploded on their chosen Mirage map, quickly taking an 11-1 lead after a series of near-perfect attacks. ENCE only counterattacked 1 round before The MongolZ finished with a score of 13-1.

With an overwhelming victory on Mirage, it seems like The MongolZ is completely warmed up and ready to dominate the decisive map Ancient. However, this was not the case as ENCE took an 8-1 lead when defending on Ancient.

The MongolZ regained their form as the first half neared its end, but ENCE remained in control throughout the remainder of the match and eventually finished 13-8 to secure their place in the finals. .
