The Ukrainian eSports organization has also signed a long -term contract with Afro.
Azuwu will play the first match for Monte today.
Monte has announced the addition of Aurimas "Bymas" Pipiras and Oscar "Azuwu" Bell, and signed a long -term contract with Aurélien "Afro" Drapier, who has played replacement for the team since April.
This announcement helps Monte's squad to return after they broke up with Ali "Hadji" Haïnouss and Vladyslav "Leen" Stepanov in early June.
Monte once resonated in 2023 when it was in the playoffs of Blast.tv Paris Major, and then had a successful time when holding the position in the top 10 worlds for the next 12 months - including the ESL Challenger Jönköping and Top 4 ESL League Season 18.
However, after Alexander "BR0" Bro joined Astralis in early 2024, Monte's performance began to go down. The remaining pillars such as Volodymyr "Woro2K" Veletnuuuk, Sergiy "Demqq" Demchenko, and Szymon "Krasnal" Mrozek also left the team in the next year.
Monte has spent a turbulent year, when they have to test at least 10 different players to find a long -term stable squad.
Afro is one of them, and has shown a stable performance since joining the Stand-in in April. The French player reached an average rating of 1.13, contributing to the Top 8 Yalla Compassers.
Bymas also played a few matches for Monte, including CCT Season 3 Europe Series 3 before the mid -season holiday. This Lithuanian player has not had a stable team since leaving Into The Breach last year.
Completing the squad is Azuwu, who participated in Saw's "international test" in the first half of 2025.
Monte's current squad:
• Aurélien "Afro" Drapier
• Jack "Gizmy" von Spreckelsen
• Gytis "Ryu" Glušauskas
• Aurimas "Bymas" Pipiras
• Oscar "Azuwu" Bell
• Ivan "Aiyvan" Semenets (coach)
