DGT: "We will draw positive points, but this time it is difficult to see"

The Uruguayan player said that Pain has great potential, but the team needs more time to play together and gain experience.

Pain ended the journey at Blast.tv Austin Major in the semi-finals, where they lost quickly to The Mongolz with a score of 0-2.

Franco "DGT" Garcia, the newest member of the team, shared about the match, the reason for the failure and what he thought Pain needs to do to promote his full potential in the future.

A bit bitter ending in Major, but in the semi -finals is still a significant achievement. You have started well on Mirage, then completely short of breath. Is it due to the pressure from the audience, or the situation? What happened?
We need more experience, really like that, and need to play more together. There are many situations that we need to sit back to analyze. To be honest, I don't know what to say - just feeling clear that we need to play together more.

For example, the position of a site on Mirage - it is a new position for me, so I don't have enough tools, it is really difficult. We need to sit together, understand what happened, and continue to try.

The Mongolz often plays Anubis - the map selected by you - and you start the CT. After losing on their forte map, do you think that affects the psychology of the team?
Maybe so, but I don't think the problem lies in the map. I think we are inexperienced and not used to playing on a big stage like this. They play very well, and we don't have a good day. Everything does not reach the necessary level. What we need is to play more, play more in the big stage - at that time we can show 100%.

I don't think it is due to the map, but the overall feeling of this match ... it's different.

What is the "different"?
Everything - squad, gameplay, audience too crowded. The Mongolz is a very aggressive team, you need to be really confident and comfortable to confront that style. Today we don't have that.

When meeting Furia - a team also from Brazil - it seems that you have played easier. Is the stage pressure less than the match against The Mongolz?
I don't think it is pressure. In fact, when meeting Brazilian teams is much more pressure than meeting The Mongolz, so I don't think the problem lies there. Everything lies in ourselves.

We don't feel like the previous days. Not ready for what they do, not shooting well, and they are very well prepared. On such a big stage, meeting such an opponent is very difficult.

Going to the Major semi -final is something that not every team can do. Can you draw anything positive?
Sure, we will draw positive lessons, but this time it is really hard to see.

You participated in a few prizes with Pain. Now how do you feel in the team?
They are all good people, good personal skills, and in terms of squad, this is a strong team. But I think we need to play more together, talk more. In some situations, I personally find it difficult, many new positions are new to me, and I need time to adapt and feel comfortable to play as much as possible.
