World Finals 2024: FlyQuest, G2 Esports are the final 2 teams in bracket 2-1

In the last 2 matches of bracket 1-1, FlyQuest and G2 Esports defeated PSG Talon and Weibo Gaming (WBG), respectively. Accordingly, FlyQuest and G2 along with Dplus KIA, Hanwha Life Esports, T1 and Top Esports will advance to bracket 2-1.


In the next match between FLY - PSG, FLY is on the blue team and chooses the main duo Cassiopeia - Kai'sa, while PSG uses the duo Vi - Ahri with very strong attack ability. In the early stages, the match was very tense and PSG could only create a difference of about 700 money due to the lead in kills. After that, PSG continuously won kills and began to advance.

However, at minute 28, FLY suddenly won the fight and scored 3 kills, thereby winning Baron. With this buff, FLY quickly regained the match with PSG. 


At 35 minutes, FLY continued to win the fight and Massu shined with a Quadra Kill, helping FLY win the second Baron and this time surpassing PSG. Finally, at 43 minutes, FLY won the third Baron and pushed the mid lane, destroying the PSG main house. 


In the match G2 - WBG, G2 was on the blue team and used a very strong fighting formation with the trio Galio - Nocturne - Orianna. Meanwhile, WBG uses a two-shooter formation familiar to Tristana - Jhin. G2 completely dominated the early stages when they soon took down WBG's 2 wing towers. However, after that, WBG made great efforts to shorten the difference.

At 23 minutes, WBG captured 2 people from G2 and quickly won Baron. However, just 3 minutes later, WBG lost the fight again and let G2 take the lead. At 30 minutes, Tarzan was defeated and G2 took down the second Baron. G2 pushed all 3 WBG lines and ended the game at 35 minutes, moving into the 2-1 bracket.
