Dendi does not overcome the challenge of increasing 1000mmR in 10 days, goodbye Dota 2

On May 23, the legendary Dota and Streamer Danil "Dendi" Ishutin began a 10 -day challenge: an increase of 1000 MMR in the Ranking mode of DOTA 2. The UK launched this challenge right on the livestream wave with the goal of rediscovering the motivation. If failed, Dendi pledged to uninstall the game and switch to another MOBA game.

Danil "Dendi" Ishutin:
"If I can't do it, I will delete the game and try something new. It may be ... League of Legends."

During 10 days, Dendi only increased by 449 MMR, ending in 2000 position on the European rankings. Despite hard work and received a lot of support from the audience, he still could not accomplish the set goals. At the end of the final stream, Dendi officially removed Dota 2 and started installing League of Legends (League of Legends).

He shared that he has never opened the alliance since 2011 and will livestream the first time after a day of rest. According to Dendi, this is an opportunity to look back on the MOBA genre from a new perspective, and "change the wind" for a while.
"Finally, it's time to play a real game. But not tomorrow. Tomorrow I will rest, and at the next stream, we will try the alliance," Dendi said. "I have not played it since 2011. I hope it will be happy. Of course, I will come back to DOTA later, but first, try League."

It is still unclear how long Dati will be away from Dota 2. Switching to another MOBA title is a rare step with Dendi - one of the most iconic names in Dota 2 history.
