Quinn "Quinn" Callahan, the mid lane player of Gainin Gladiators, admitted that he had no intention of becoming a professional player in Dota 2.

He shared this in an interview:

“At that time, I was about 17 years old, just starting the last year of high school.

I really didn't want to go to college because I completely didn't know what I wanted to do.

Just thinking about college and I was disgusted. I thought, 'What can I do without learning?' At that time I also played DotA quite well. At that time, the top people were about 5k MMR, and I was about 4.5k. I started livestream since then.

At first I didn't think about professional play - just wanted to make some money to avoid studying. I started by coach, streaming and analyzing the match, because at that time I was still playing very badly. At the same time, I also started playing for a few unknown teams, and everything went on.
But it all started from a simple thought: 'I don't want to go to college. What to do now? ''

Quinn said that he was only 17 years old and was standing at the threshold of university, but completely did not want to continue. Initially, he was simply streaming and making money to dodge study.

However, the opportunity came when the Freedom team opened the selection for The International 2017. It was at that time that opened a professional path in his electronic sports career.
