Can Parivision confirm the world's number one team position at PGL Wallachia season 4?
PGL Wallachia Season 4 follows the torch from ESL One Raleigh 2025, bringing a new perspective on what Dota 2 players have in hand after a top tournament in the United States. And in fact, the fourth version of this PGL tournament has taken place with many turning points and surprising when we enter the playoff round.
The group stage, organized in the harsh Swiss formula, witnessed eight teams enter the next stage. Team Spirit and Parivision, two teams to the ESL One Raleigh final, led with the achievement of winning. Followed by Betboom Team, Tundra Esports, Team Liquid, Aurora Gaming, Team Tidebound, and Natus Vincere Junior (Navi Jr).
Meanwhile, the remaining eight teams were eliminated by losing three or more series. Avulus and Talon Esports are the first two teams to leave the tournament, followed by Shopify Rebellion, Nigma Galaxy, Edge, Xtreme Gaming, Heroic, and Team Falcons.
Great surprises in the group stage PGL Wallachia season 4
PGL Wallachia Season 4 marks an unprecedented milestone with the Western European Falcons - and not in a positive direction. For the first time in the history of the team, they ended outside the top 8 in a tournament. This is their lowest ranking since its inception, and is gradually becoming a wake -up bell. In the group stage, Falcons lost to Parivision, Tundra Esports, and Navi Jr, thereby losing the opportunity to participate in the playoff round.
Fans also put much expectation on the overly Chinese star squad of Xtreme. The team rebuilt the squad for the first quarter of the year, even abandoning the ESL One Raleigh to prepare. With a long time before the launch, expected is huge. But after three consecutive defeats to the current champion of Liquid, the South American team under Edge, and the opponent of the TideBound area, Xtreme had to leave the tournament earlier than the expectations of many people.
