Resolut1on launches a closed Dota 2 tournament with a similar matchmaking system from Valve

Roman “Resolut1on” Fominok announced the launch of the closed Eternal Dota League, open only to professional players and promising talents. This tournament will apply a matchmaking system similar to Valve's.

There will be two categories in the tournament. The first category will only include professional players, while the second category is for promising young talents and semi-professional players with a rank of at least 1500. Participation will be by invitation only, and during matches, the organizers commit to strict supervision to ensure the integrity of players.


In each season, the best players will have the opportunity to compete for cash prizes, with the prize value promised by Roman “Resolut1on” Fominok to gradually increase each season. In the first season, tournament participants will compete for a prize pool of 10 thousand US dollars.


Previously, Roman "Resolut1on" Fominok shared that he tried to apply for an update development position for Dota 2 at Valve.
