It's an exciting time for esports fans as all the venues for the next three seasons have been fully revealed. This includes the exact location of the 2025 Mid-Season Invitational (MSI). Previously, we knew the country that would host the event, but now the specific location has been determined. Additionally, Riot has also announced the full schedule for the 2026 and 2027 seasons.
Let's take a look at the new information revealed in the update from the League of Legends development team.
MSI 2025 location in Canada revealed
Although during the Worlds 2024 press conference, Riot announced that MSI 2025 would take place in North America, specifically Canada, it has now been confirmed that Vancouver will be the host of the Mid-Season Invitational 2025. MSI 2025 will be the event that concludes the second phase of the League of Legends competitive season, following the familiar position often held in the past. However, this year this event is also the first step for Worlds 2025 in China.
Although Toronto used to be one of the major hubs for esports events in Canada, Vancouver took the position of hosting the second largest event of the year in the League of Legends system. This is not the first time Vancouver has hosted a League of Legends event. This city was once the venue for the 2017 LCS Spring Final between Cloud9 and TSM. Currently, there is no official information about the stadiums that will host MSI 2025, but this article will be updated when more information becomes available.
LoL Esports 2026 and 2027 venue revealed
In the past, Riot often kept the locations of international tournaments a secret, but now fans can plan their trips as the venues for First Stand, MSI, and Worlds are announced. 2026 and 2027 have been revealed. Let's take a look at the locations for these events:
Year 2026:
First Stand: Brazil
MSI: Korea
Worlds: North America
Year 2027:
First Stand: Southeast Asia
MSI: Europe
Worlds: Korea
This gives fans plenty of time to plan ahead, solving a long-standing problem LoL Esports fans have had with Riot. In the past, Riot often announced the venue too late, causing many fans to be unable to make arrangements. But with this information, fans will now have plenty of time to adjust their plans.
