Spirit Academy won CCT Season 2 Europe Series 15, besting Danish team ECSTATIC in the final to take home the grand prize of $22,000.

For Spirit Academy, this is their second consecutive win at CCT events, following their win over Vladyslav "bondik" Nechyporchuk's FAVBET at Series 14 over two months ago.

Russia's young squad advanced to the playoffs of the online event with a 3-1 record in the Swiss group stage, suffering a loss to DMS before advancing to the round of 16.

Entering the knockout round, Spirit Academy quickly overcame their opponents, taking down Tomáš "oskar" Šťastný's SINNERS, Aurora Young Blud, and Lukas "gla1ve"'s ENCE. Rossander to put his name in the final.

Spirit Academy faced off against ECSTATIC in the finals, who came in after winning the playoffs against B8, Zero Tenacity, and 9INE. The series kicked off on ECSTATIC's chosen map Nuke, where Alimzhan "alkarenn" Bitimbai and Maxim "kyousuke" Lukin showed excellent form to help Spirit Academy achieve its first double-digit round count.

ECSTATIC started to counterattack on the defensive side thanks to the efforts of Anton "Anlelele" Huynh, but in the end the Russian team only needed three more rounds to steal the Nuke map with a score of 13-11.

The map chosen by Spirit Academy, Mirage, is a much more dominant match. All five players from the academy team contributed, creating half of the match with a score of 9-3 on the offensive side. A pistol round win from ECSTATIC at the start of the second half only temporarily extended the match, but Spirit Academy quickly closed out the map 13-6, completing a 2-0 series win.
