Dota 2 commentator Vladimir “Maelstorm” Kuzminov commented that after a strong start, Team Spirit has fallen into stagnation and will not be able to improve further as their roster is about to change – Collapse will Return to Team Spirit.

He further shared this opinion on his Telegram channel as follows:

"I still cannot fully evaluate Team Spirit for the simple reason that Collapse will return to the team and Malik will leave - they themselves have confirmed this. In my opinion, this is the reason why they are having difficulty It's difficult to improve as expected. Maybe this is just a personal opinion, but currently, they are just a pale shadow compared to the image that Spirit should have!"

Maelstorm also commented that the current squad, with offlaner Abdimalik ‘‘Malik’’ Sailau, cannot develop properly because it cannot build a stable style of play. The reason is that everyone knows Malik will be replaced by Collapse. He also emphasized that we should not expect this squad to perform at a high level in the near future because this is not the star squad that fans are familiar with.
