Top seeded team G2 will face The MongolZ in the opening match.

The opening round of the Qualifiers at the Perfect World Shanghai Major has been set after the Prologue Round officially ended.

The top eight teams were seeded based on their pre-tournament rankings, while the remaining teams were seeded based on their opening round results.

The #1 seeded team from RMR will face the #1 seeded team from the Prologue Round, so G2 will face The MongolZ. The second seeded teams will face each other, as will the third seeds, and continue in this manner.

Competition format:

Like the Major's Prologue Round, the Qualifiers will begin with Best-of-One (BO1) matches in the opening round, as well as in groups 1-0, 0-1 and 1-1. Best-of-Three (BO3) matches will be applied in qualifying, advancing, and deciding matches.

The top eight teams will advance to the playoffs, while the bottom eight teams will have to stop and leave.
