Team Spirit's manager explains why Yatoro left the team but is still actively climbing MMR

Ilya "Yatoro" Mularchuk decided to take a break from professional Dota 2 competition while continuing to play the game, because he was tired of his teammates and schedule at bootcamp.

Dmitry "Korb3n" Belov, manager of Team Spirit, explained this on a Twitch livestream.

"Professional Dota 2 is not in his plans right now. Playing pubs and competing professionally are two completely different worlds. Imagine yourself at home, making a cup of tea, and comfortably climbing 16k MMR. And at the bootcamp… I won't say more, because this is about Illukha. But consider that you are with 5 or maybe 6 other people during the bootcamp same family. Wear Even though we don't have to share the same faucet, there are still 3 bathrooms, and each room will have 2-3 people."

Korb3n was answering a fan's question about why Yatoro was still able to climb MMR while not competing. Team Spirit's management clarified that the champion is no longer competing but is still free to play the game without any restrictions. In addition, he also emphasized that players often have to live together at bootcamp, and this may be another reason why Yatoro needs time to rest.

Remember, a few days ago, Yatoro also suggested Valve introduce a new MMR reset feature in Dota 2.
