After a series of rumors, Hanwha Life Esports has officially recruited Choi "Zeus" Woo-je. Thus, this team has two official players in the 2025 season: Zeus and Viper.

On the evening of November 19, T1 officially announced their farewell to Zeus to recruit Doran. Then on November 20, Zeus officially joined Hanwha Life Esports to become the team's top laner in the 2025 season. Zeus is also the first player in T1's newly crowned world champion squad to announce leave the team.

However, a series of information has appeared surrounding this transfer deal. Many rumors say that T1 still prioritizes keeping the team that has won the world championship twice, but Zeus has considered leaving the team to find a new challenge. Initially, rumors revealed that Zeus wanted to sign a long-term contract with T1, then Zeus' agency asked for a higher salary.

However, T1 only accepts a salary increase if Zeus signs a short contract of 1 year + 1 year automatic extension. After that, both sides, T1 and Zeus' representative company, failed to reach a negotiation agreement, leading to Zeus accepting the offer of another team, Hanwha Life Esports.

By joining Hanwha Life Esports, this team has officially finalized two members of the 2025 season squad, Zeus and Viper. Previously, Viper agreed to extend the contract and stay until the end of the 2025 season. According to current contract information, both Peanut, Zeka and Delight are under contract until 2025 and it is possible that all three players will all stay with the team next season.
