VINI's team is currently waiting for the results of the FURIA - 9z match to determine whether they will directly enter the Major or have to play the match to decide 7th place.

Vinicius "VINI" Figueiredo had an impressive performance with an important ace on Vertigo and an important clutch on Dust2, helping the team turn the game in their favor.

Imperial eliminated RED Canids from the Perfect World Shanghai Major Americas RMR after winning two maps. They defeated their opponents on Vertigo 13-10 and overcame a two-overtime battle on Dust2, closing out the series with a 3-2 record.

However, Imperial is still not sure of participating in the Major. Their fate will be decided by the result of the final match between FURIA and 9z. If FURIA wins, Imperial will qualify thanks to its higher Buchholz score. On the contrary, if 9z wins, Imperial will have to face M80 in the seventh place match to win the final spot.

The short period of rest before the decisive match (if there is any) will be essential for the Brazilian team, because they made many mistakes on Dust2. These mistakes made the match more difficult than it needed to be, and they could have serious consequences if repeated in the next match.

The series started with a surprise in map selection when Imperial decided to ban Anubis instead of Ancient or Vertigo. RED Canids chose Vertigo to open the show.

Marcelo "coldzera" David's team got off to a strong start with a strong lead in the early rounds. However, a brilliant ace from VINI lifted Imperial's spirits, helping them finish the first half with 7 points. In the second half, Imperial changed the direction of attack from B to A and continuously successfully exploited Gabriel "nython" Lino to close the map with a 13-10 victory.

RED Canids got off to a strong start on Dust2, with a 1v3 clutch from coldzera giving them a 6-0 lead. However, Imperial gradually regained the game and ended the first half with 5 points.

In the second half, RED Canids continued to hold the advantage with a victory in the pistol round and a successful conversion, increasing the score to 9-5. But Imperial turned the tide thanks to a quad-kill from Santino "try" Rigal in area B, along with a 1v3 clutch from VINI, leveling the score at 10-10.

As the pressure mounted, both teams took turns making mistakes in 5v3 situations, causing the match to extend to the second overtime period.

Here, RED Canids almost reached match point, but David "dav1deuS" Tapia Maldonado made a mistake, allowing João "felps" Vasconcellos to shine with a quad-kill, helping Imperial win the final.
